Andrew Schechter is Practice Director for Senior Living at Consero Global, where he leads the company’s finance and accounting practice for the senior living industry. He works with senior living operators and investors alike, overseeing the financial operations, reporting, planning, and advisory support these clients rely on to run senior living portfolios.
Schechter joined Consero through its acquisition of Waxman Associates, where he served as CEO and vice president. Schechter helped grow Waxman Associates, a finance, accounting, and advisory firm specializing in the senior living industry, into a leader in F&A in the space, giving operators and investors the financial infrastructure to manage the operational and regulatory demands of the industry.
Schechter holds a Master of Accountancy from Truman State University and an active CPA license in the state of Missouri.
