Client Assessment Director – Austin, TX

Job Description

Consero Global in Austin is looking for a senior leader to support our Sales organization in performing client-facing assessments, developing standard and custom solutions, and finalizing client pricing and business cases.  This position is instrumental in understanding potential client’s existing finance and accounting systems, processes, and workflows and building out an ideal Consero solution and value proposition.  This highly visible role provides a vital connection between our Sales and Implementation/Delivery organizations.

Skill Sets

  • Strong sales presence and ability to build credibility and rapport with potential clients
  • Ability to interact with various levels within a client organization to assess current accounting-related systems and process infrastructure and challenges
  • Intellectual curiosity to understand varied business/accounting structures and processes
  • Ability to communicate in business language vs. technical accounting language
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sense of urgency and responsiveness
  • Ability to professionally challenge both internal teams and external client concerns
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to perform system demos


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • 10-15 years of customer facing service experience
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, guidelines, processes, and systems
  • Presentation development and delivery
  • High level business acumen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading a finance or accounting function and processes
  • System implementation and/or solution architecture experience with Sage Intacct
  • Consulting/problem solving experience
  • Trusted advisor to executive team regarding business decisions


  • Support defined assessment process and continue to develop robust assessment collateral
  • Collaborate internally with Sales, Delivery, Implementation and Technology teams as needed for unique or complex solutioning
  • Hold Sales accountable to defined processes and standards
  • Attend and support client solution review and sales proposal meetings, providing clarity on solution details and Consero’s delivery model
